By 2012, dating rumors of Kutcher and Kunis started to surface after the couple was seen kissing at a party, but a source clarified that they were not exclusive. The “Bad Moms” star also revealed that she and Kutcher started casually dating, but just like in their movies, “Friends with Benefits” and “No Strings Attached,” one of them caught feelings.

While on the Armchair Expert Podcast with Dax Shepard, she mentioned that she had just gone through a horrible breakup before meeting Kutcher. The actress was in a long-term relationship with actor Macaulay Culkin for eight years, which ended in 2011.

Kunis was honest about where she went wrong in her last relationship and said she wanted to spend time alone to figure out why she did what she did in her 20s. So, Kunis spent two years single before meeting her husband.

When the “Friends with Benefits” star realized how intoxicated he was, she said, “Don’t say it if you don’t mean it,” and proceeded to ask him if he would still feel the same way the next day.

But Kutcher knew what he was doing; the following day, he woke up and said, “I still love you.” The couple got engaged in 2014, and a month later, they announced they were expecting their first child. In 2015, they secretly wed, but the couple had tied the knot way before their undercover nuptials. Then, in 2016, they welcomed their second child.

Despite being one of the most famous actresses, Kunis keeps a low profile. She is one of the few Hollywood stars with no social media accounts. The actress has also been part of many successful movies and shares assets with her husband, including their three houses. The couple owns a $2.9 million house in Laurel Canyon and a $540,000 condo in West Hollywood.

They sold their $10.2 million home in Beverly Hills for slightly more than the purchase price. Kutcher and Kunis also have a $10 million home near Santa Barbara.

Despite the couple’s money, Kunis revealed that their wedding bands were bought from Etsy. She wanted the thinnest platinum band but found the prices from places like Tiffany & Co. to be “astronomical.”

They Stayed Together despite a Life-Threatening Disease

In 2019, Kutcher revealed that he had a life-threatening health scare where he could not walk, hear, or see. It turned out Kutcher had a severe case of vasculitis, “a serious and rare autoimmune disease that attacks and inflames the blood vessels.”

In this time of uncertainty, his wife was constantly by his side. During their interview on “The Check Up,” Dr. David Agus said it was beautiful how Kunis “just curled up” next to him and never left his side. “She’s the best,” responded the actor.

Inside Their Life on a Farm

Kunis and Kutcher had the bright idea to build a sustainable modern farmhouse on the outskirts of Los Angeles. Their six-acre property is equipped with a guesthouse/entertainment barn and a free-standing barbecue pavilion. Kunis explained that they wanted their property to not look like an estate but a home.

The Kutcher family all work together to keep their fruit and vegetables growing. Kunis said her parents often make fun of her and tell her that growing a tomato on their farm probably costs more than buying it from the store.

But the mother of two does not care because she loves teaching her children the importance of growing food and what it takes to grow something as simple as a tomato.
