ITV appeared to be playing it seriously safe each time Danny Dyer was within reach of a microphone at the Brit Awards.

The Football Factory star, 47, seemed to be getting censored an awful lot each time he appeared on screen this evening (1 March).

The actor is quite the straight talker and according to reports, he had a few brutal blows to hand out when he was given the opportunity at the Brits.

Host Jack Whitehall approached Dyer shortly after he presented the award for International Song of the Year, which Chappell Roan won for her hit ‘Good Luck Babe’.

It appears that the Eastenders actor didn’t think it was very cool of the singer to not show up in person to the awards show, as she instead celebrated her win with a video message.

While introducing said video message, it has been revealed that Dyer got a light-hearted jab in at Roan regarding her lack of attendance, according to the Mirror.

Apparently, he comically told the crowd: “She couldn’t be f***ed to be here!”

After that debacle, Whitehall then squeezed himself between Dyer and an unlikely animal-like guest to hear how the actor felt about his presenting duties.

He quizzed Dyer about his upcoming film Marching Powder, which tells the story of a drug-addicted football hooligan who tries to turn his life around.

Asked how he would describe it, the 47-year-old hilariously compared it to Bridget Jones before trailing off into an expletive… so it sounds like the flick will be pretty wild.

Dyer reportedly went on to let rip at international leaders, saying the ‘world is being run by b******s’, before directly taking aim at Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.

He apparently branded the Labour leader ‘b****** of the year’… so you probably won’t catch Starmer sat in the cinemas when Marching Powder releases on 7 March.

Despite music royalty being in the O2 Arena tonight for the Brits, Dyer managed to steal the show even before his expletive-ridden comments.

Viewers were left baffled after spotting the Mean Machine star sat next to a ‘horse’ – although there is a perfectly reasonable explanation for it.

LADbible has contacted Dyer’s representatives for comment.
