Sophie Rain has issued a warning about OnlyFans

Popular OnlyFans creator Sophie Rain has issued an honest message to other women after she revealed she has earned more than $40,000,000 from the subscription platform this year.

The eye-watering amount of money was revealed by Rain, who shared how much she had earned from November 2023 to November 2024, with a screenshot from her OnlyFans account showing a gross income of $43,477,695 (£34,069,290).

As part of the humungous pot of cash she had accumulated from people paying for her photos and videos, she revealed that just one fan had in fact sent her more than $4.7 million of that by themselves.

“Big thank you to my top spender for being there since the beginning,” she posted.

Still only 20 years old, the USA native revealed her earnings in a TikTok video with fellow OnlyFans creator, Camilla Araujo, with Araujo revealing Rain had raked it $400,000 in just the last seven days before filming the clip.

Not everyone has believed Rain’s revelation, though, with some calling it out as an alleged publicity stunt for the press to pick up.

Adam22, a podcaster and adult star himself, shared the top spender post, adding: “Everyone I’ve talked to who works in the OnlyFans industry agrees these numbers are fake and would kindly request you post screen recordings.”

Real name Adam Grandmaison, he added: “I’m not ‘mad’ I just think y’all should know this is marketing and not news. Yeah, she’s very popular but her management team are faking her numbers to get media attention (and it’s working).”

Rain hit back at Adam22 directly, posting a screen recording of her photo on her OF account to show the earnings were legit.

“Nothing is being faked. Hope this helps,” she simply responded with.

With Rain’s earnings – and having to defend the numbers as being real – going viral, she issued a statement to those who were checking out her social media.

And in it, she issued a warning to women who might see what she has earned and be tempted to venture in to creating their own subscription adult content on OnlyFans.

“I do not want girls to think, ‘oh if Sophie Rain is making this I should do it too’,” Rain posted over on X (formerly Twitter).

She added: “This career is not sunshine and rainbows 24/7 and if you don’t make it big, it will NOT be worth it.

“Anyone who is doing it I wish you all success, but please don’t quit your jobs for this.”

So while she has made it rain (sorry), she is saying OF is like any success story in any industry.

‘7ft tall’ adult star explains why she got whole family working on OnlyFans after getting sacked from job

The OnlyFans creator revealed that her family have joined her as the ‘tallest family’ on the site

An adult content creator has revealed how and why she got her entire family working on OnlyFans with her.

Marie Temara revealed that she was sacked from her job after one of her colleagues told her higher-ups that she was creating adult content during her out-of-work hours.

Since 2021, she’s been regularly uploading clips to social media before later creating 18+ content to upload onto OnlyFans.

Her social media content as a ‘seven-foot’ tall woman also documents how hard life can be for an extremely tall person.

And since becoming a content creator, she has accumulated hundreds of millions of views across Instagram and TikTok.

Temara says that she’s been making some serious money while doing it too, as she found out that she made more in a day for some spicy snaps that she did in her old job in accounts.

The 28-year-old revealed to the Daily Star that getting sacked was a blessing as she has become a full-time content creator.

Currently based in Florida, the adult star says she can earn upwards of £627,000 in a single month’s work.

A lot of people’s family’s might not be the most thrilled to hear about this change in careers, but it turns out that Temara’s parents not only support her career, but apparently they’ve joined her on the site, as the model revealed: “My whole family is on OnlyFans.

“We are the tallest family on that site. My mum, dad, brothers are all on there.”

Temara added: “We all live on the same property, and we all do TikToks and work together.”

With her earnings, her parents were able to retire and Temara bought a huge compound, where she lives with her family.

A lot of her content is around the idea that she’s seven feet tall, but it turns out that she’s ‘only’ six feet and three inches – which is still very lofty indeed.

And with her family now also on the content creation train, Temara says that they are able to spend a lot of quality time together.

The model’s income often gets invested in property that is managed by her family, so they are barely ever bored.

“We’ve always been a different family that kind of goes a different path from everyone else,” the adult content creator explained.

“So they enjoy it, and they joined along, and now we’re all doing the family business.

“Everyone calls us weird, but how many people get to spend every day, and live right next door, with their whole family. So they can call us whatever they want.”

OnlyFans star says ‘it sucks’ after being told to pay £210,000 tax bill

Big earnings come with big taxes

One of the world’s top OnlyFans earners says she feels ripped off after being slapped with a tax bill of more than £200,000.

In the last half a decade, OnlyFans has boomed in popularity with pretty much everyone knowing what spicy purpose it is for.

Normal folk and celebrities alike have used the the platform to sell whatever they like. And we mean pretty much anything, including niche fetishes – just look at musician Lily Allen.

You can earn a fortune on the platform; although it’s not always guaranteed.

Some people also regret heading on there and revealing everything, so it’s definitely not a perfect move (what is, after all?).

Annie Knight is one of the top models on OnlyFans, with the adult content creator herself saying she is among the top 0.02 percent of earners on OF.

The 26-year-old makes a hell of a lot of money on the content platform. Towards the end of last year, she revealed she had been bringing in around $101,000 Australian dollars in just a month, which is roughly £52,770.

Knowing she was making incredibly good money for her work, Knight knew the tax bill wouldn’t make for nice reading when it came to the cut taken by the taxman.

And despite putting aside 50 percent of her income for the entire year, under the assumption she’d be in the highest tax bracket there is in Australia, she was still shocked at the final bill.

“I put away 50 percent of my earnings into a separate account for tax, and then when tax time rolls around, if I have extra money in there, I just transfer it back to myself and pay the tax bill,” she told news.com.au.

But when a bill for $405,000 (£211,610) comes your way at the end of the year, you can’t help but wince at having to hand that over in one go.

She said: “It sucks that I could literally buy a house with that money, but also, I get we all have to pay our taxes.

“I just wish we didn’t get punished for earning more money than other people. I think the highest tax bracket should be 30 percent for individuals.”

She added: “I’m really good with my money and taxes and had been putting away 50 percent of my earnings for tax so the tax bill was actually way lower than I thought it would be.

“I actually transferred myself back about $100k from my tax account, which was a nice little end-of-financial-year present to myself.”

Despite having to pay the monster tax bill, Knight says she’s exactly where she needs to be as she never has to stress about money.
