A fan-favourite food item is making its return to the McDonald’s menu, months after its removal

A new McDonald’s menu is on the horizon, and foodies all over the nation will be rejoicing.

Getting one of your favourite food items taken off the menu at any restaurant hurts, but from somewhere as accessible and tasty as Maccies?

It’s enough to ruin someone’s day.

The fast food chain has announced what we can expect to come in February though, and I’m glad to report that it’s good news.

This 12 February, one of the fan-favourite burgers will be making its triumphant return.

The item in question was taken off the menu at the end of 2023, before being re-introduced to the UK public in September 2024, though it was taken off again.

But what has been described on social media as the ‘best ever’ burger, will be available in about two weeks.

The Philly Cheese Stack will be back in the American chain right before Valentine’s Day, as it previously prompted over 100 people to sign a petition online to ask for the item to be made permanent on the menu.

Talk about missing something when it’s gone.

It may not become a permanent instalment, but the Philly Cheese Stack is expected to stick around longer than it ever has before.

The iconic burger features two beef patties, grilled and crispy onions, cheese sauce, two cheddar cheese slices, with pickles and crispy onions, all slapped between a toasted bun.

But that’s not all we can look forward to this February, as some sweet treats are being added ahead of the day of love.

From 12 February, customers can look forward to a special that was also available last Valentine’s day, the Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie.

Different to a regular apple pie, the dessert option includes pink pastry filled with smooth white chocolate and raspberry compote – and it will stick around until 6 May.

This too was popular among customers, and it’s not alone on the dessert menu.

The Mars McFlurry is coming back, with its ice cream covered in chocolate shavings, with some sweet caramel sauce on top – what’s there not to like?

That’s available until 25 March, giving you a six-week window to take advantage of it.

As well as these additions, some popular items are also sticking around, with the new Katsu Chicken Wrap set to stay put until at least 6 May, while the McCrispy BBQ Smokehouse chicken burger will also remain.

Don’t worry cheese fans, Mozzarella Dippers are also included in next menu’s change-up, available until 25 March as a three or nine-piece box with salsa dip.

Tropicana Apple Juice is being granted permanent status though, and many will be hoping some of the aforementioned food items follow suit.

Now for the bad news.

Some of the limited-edition products, such as the BBQ Ranch Stack and the Milky Way McFlurry are on the way out, leaving fans with about two weeks to enjoy them while they can.

Because as always, who knows when, or if, they will make a return.
