Cardi B’s fans have questioned how her new piercing is ‘even possible’

You know it’s a dry news day when the internet ends up flooded with comments about Cardi B’s new intimate piercing.

Cardi B – real name Belcalis Marlenis Cephus – took to social media yesterday (January 27) to reveal she got a new piercing.

And when a user asked for ‘photo or it didn’t happen,’ the 32-year-old rapper certainly didn’t hold back.

While everyone else is still desperately trying to make it through yet another week of January, whether not drinking or still attempting to come up with some sort of resolution you’re in with the slightest chance of sticking to for the year ahead, Cardi B has been getting pierced.

And not just by adding another hole to her ear or even getting a slightly more edgy tongue piercing, but by thinking pretty outside the box.

The piercing? Well, Cardi B ‘got [her] butt crack pierced,’ she revealed in a post to Twitter.

Yup, as one Twitter user noted: “How is it even physically possible?”

And one social media user couldn’t help but say: “Photo or it didn’t happen.”

Naturally, Cardi B responded to the post by sharing an image of said piercing alongside the caption: “Do I lie?”

The reactions to the image are all you really need if you didn’t let your curiosity get the better of you and take a peep.

“No way,” one user wrote.

Another added: “I feel like I know you very personally now.”

A third said: “What happens if you forget it about it for months ???”

And a fourth commented: “There is NO WAY omg.”

Cardi B has opened up about her piercings on her social media before, taking to her Instagram in October 2023 to reveal she’d had to take off her tongue ring after accidentally biting it.

Showing the camera her tongue, she said, as quoted by Allure: “I had to take it off because I think I bit it and it f**king f**ked up a blood vessel. The tip is purple. So, yeah, I’m traumatized.”

The star was also spotted sporting a lip ring in the video – specifically a piercing known as the Monroe piercing featuring a stud above the side of her lip.

If you care that much about what other piercings Cardi B has, it’s also reported the rapper has a belly button piercing, an eyebrow piercing and several in her ears.
