Originally going viral in 2023 after being shared on the TikTok account @sav4president, the extravagant do took place at France’s Palace of Versailles, the infamous former home the nation’s royal family, a rehearsal dinner in an Opera House and entertainment from Maroon 5.

Which certainly trumps even our wildest wedding expectations.

“Paris opera house, gardens, stunning decor AND maroon 5, WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE,” one person replied to the original TikTok.

“Oh so u RICH RICH,” another added.

It was only a matter of time before the wedding received backlash online, with many people baffled at how much money some have, while others are living out their days on the breadline.

“You could fix so many things in this world with that kind of money,” one person pointed out on X, while another penned: “It is absolutely insane how some humans experience life like this and others have to fight for basic resources.”

“Idc how much money I have, billions upon billions… 59 million on a wedding is insane,” a third added.

So who are the mystery couple – and how are they so loaded?

The bride is heiress Madelaine Brockway, her groom is Jacob LaGrone and it would appear their money is, at least partially, familial wealth.

Madelaine is the daughter of Bob Brockway, chairman and CEO of Ussery Automative Group – a car company overseeing various Mercedes Benz dealerships in Florida. Meanwhile her mother Paula is the Vice President of one of the Mercedes Benz branches.

So in other words, they really are rich rich.

If you fancy a further glance at how the other half live, Madelaine has since become somewhat of a social media star after her viral wedding, with her platforms showcasing everything from a Marie Antoinette bachelorette party in Utah, trips to designer shops and luxury getaways.

Meanwhile her husband keeps a relatively low profile on social media, however to couple have announced they’re expecting their first child together.
