The woman who filmed and posted the viral clip allegedly showing a company CEO getting cosy with an employee at a Coldplay concert has addressed online questions about the situation.
The internet has been abuzz since the release of a video appearing to show a man – who has been identified online as Andy Byron, the CEO of tech firm Astronomer – as he had been watching Coldplay at their gig at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on July 16.
Byron, who is said to be married, allegedly attended the event with his employee Kristin Cabot, the Chief People Officer of Astronomer.
In the viral clip, Byron appeared to have his arms around Cabot while she leaned back into his chest as he held his arms around her.
But things got uncomfortable when Coldplay frontman Chris Martin called attention to the pair during a segment which saw random members of the crowd appear on the jumbotron, and their reaction to the big screen left people baffled.
As soon as the couple could see each other on the screen, Kristin suddenly moved to cover her face, and Andy dropped to the ground to remove himself from the frame.

“Oh, what? Either they’re having an affair or they’re just really shy,” Martin said to the crowd.
After it was posted on TikTok by Grace Springer, who filmed the incident in the stadium, people have been wanting to know every detail about the alleged affair being caught in action.
The 28-year-old from New Jersey previously spoke to The Sun, where she said: “I had no idea who the couple was. Just thought I caught an interesting reaction to the kiss cam and decided to post it.”
But now she’s spoken out on her own TikTok account, revealing much-anticipated details for the world wide web.
She began by introducing herself as the woman who filmed and posted the incident, before explaining that she had initially expected the cam to show herself on the screen, and was surprised when it was ‘Andy’ instead.
She revealed that a question she gets asked is whether lawyers have been in touch with her regarding the clip, and she said that they have not, noting that she also hasn’t made much money from the clip and she ‘couldn’t take you out to dinner’ with the amount.
Grace also shared that while she is happy she could entertain people with the video, ‘Andy’s wife and family are real people’ and that needs to be at the forefront of people’s minds during all of this speculation.
Speaking further to LADbible, she explained the moment that gave the game away that the pair may be having an affair as she was filming.
“I had no clue who the couple was, I thought it was an interesting reaction to the kiss cam and my friends were actually the ones who pushed me to post it after the concert. I never would have expected this,” Grace explained.
“I thought it was more innocent, but the group I was with said ‘no, something weird is going on’, because it was kind of the talk of the concert. Everybody was talking about it. I was like, I don’t know, I think they were just shy.
“Then I realised I had the video and I looked back on it and when I saw his face I thought this seems suspicious.”
Grace said that she may not have shared the video if they had ‘acted normal’.
“If they had given a normal reaction, I wouldn’t have posted it,” she said.
Astronomer has since released two statements, one regarding Andy’s leave from his CEO role and another which described the company’s values amid the drama.
Posted to its LinkedIn account, it read: “Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability.
“The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter and we will have additional details to share very shortly.”
The company also addressed rumors that a third employee was present, stating: “Alyssa Stoddard was not at the event and no other employees were in the video. Andy Byron has not put out any statement, reports saying otherwise are all incorrect.”
It also noted that ‘Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy is currently serving as interim CEO given Andy Byron has been placed on leave’ in its statement today (July 19).

Byron has gone viral in recent days for all the wrong reasons after he was spotted cuddling a woman — who has since been identified as Astronomer employee Kristin Cabot — at a Coldplay concert.
The moment was caught on a baseball game-like ‘kiss cam’ at the concert at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on July 16.
The band’s frontman Chris Martin was speaking to the crowd as different couples were shown on screen when Byron and Cabot came up. Byron had his arms wrapped around Cabot, but when they realized they were on screen, the CEO ducked down and Cabot quickly hid her face from view.
“Either they’re having an affair or they’re just really shy,” Martin said in the video of the extremely awkward incident.
